The character’s faces are painted on wooden beads.

I include beads, shells and other found objects in the fabric relief scenes.

I hand sew every stitch in every illustration.

Some characters in the book have hats made of acorn caps.

I use plant dyed wool felt and multicolored threads to make the pictures.

I like using driftwood to make house roofs and furniture.
